associate attorney

Kelsey Ferguson is an associate attorney at Stag Liuzza law firm

Kelsey Ferguson is an Associate at Stag Liuzza focusing her practice on environmental pollution and water contamination litigation. She is dedicated to representing plaintiffs and holding corporations accountable for harming individuals, communities, and coastal ecosystems.

ABOUT KELSEY

Growing up on North Carolina’s Crystal Coast, Kelsey Ferguson developed an early appreciation for coastal ecosystems and the communities that depend on them, an interest that would eventually shape her legal career. She carried that passion south to New Orleans to attend Tulane University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics with a double major in History.

After graduating from Tulane in 2022, and falling in love with Louisiana and its people, Kelsey began working as a legal assistant, where she gained hands-on experience supporting litigation involving catastrophic personal injury, oil spill contamination, the Louisiana Coastal Zone case, and the AFFF multidistrict litigation. That work sharpened her interest in the legal implications of environmental pollution and confirmed she wanted to advocate for the people and places affected by it.

In 2023, Kelsey enrolled at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law to pursue that goal. As a law student, she was a member of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and the school’s Trial Advocacy program, through which she represented Loyola at the 2026 American Association for Justice (AAJ) Student Trial Advocacy Competition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Kelsey joined the Stag Liuzza team after graduating from Loyola Law in 2026. She is committed to representing plaintiffs harmed by environmental pollution and water contamination, and to holding the parties responsible for that harm accountable.

We all deserve to live and breathe in a clean environment for ourselves and our children. Companies that knowingly harm people and the environment should be held accountable and pay for what they have done.
